Background & Scope

The St Erth Multi Modal Hub will provide additional car parking and improvements to the highway infrastructure in the vicinity of the St Erth Railway Station. The proposals will enable the integration of rail, bus, walking, and cycling aimed at residents, visitors and commuters alike travel for travel to work, health, education, shopping, and leisure and will help towards tackling congestion on the highway network. Aligned with this is the requirement to increase footfall capacity on the bay platform at St Erth, which involves widening the platform, with associated alterations to the track and signalling layout.

Temporary Design to include:

  • Update to correlation findings.
  • Signalling Design Specification (covers temp. and perm. designs).
  • Stagework Signalling Scheme Plan & Design Log.
  • Panel Design.
  • Wiring Design (F9B, G2 and G1 location cabinets).
  • Production of AIR Sheets.
  • Production of revised Location Area Plan.

Permanent Design to include:

  • Update to correlation findings (where not already completed).
  • Signalling Design Specification already produced above.
  • Update Signalling Scheme Plan & Design Log.
  • Wiring Design (REB, Signal Box, F9B, G2 and G1 location cabinets).
  • Production of AIR Sheets.
